Lovely to see a picture of my dad John Woolley on here. Anyone that knew my dad might know that he wrote a book about his life at Toton. The book was not published when he was alive, however the book WILL be published a little later this year. I am appealing for photographs for the book. I am looking for pictures of Toton yard, sheds, local signal boxes and any of the people that have worked with my dad.Photos from the days of steam and the early diesel days. Please, if you can help, would you contact me on 0115 9721647 or email me s_middletonwoolley@o2.co.uk Many thanks, Sarah Middleton-Woolley

CAN YOU HELP
I had an email the other day from Paul Marshall in Skegness. He was enquiring about his grandfather Thomas Marshall who drove Garratts in the steam days and his uncle Stanley Vernon who was once a coppersmith at Toton. If anyone has any information about their working lives Paul would like to hear from you. You can obtain his email address by contacting this website on woile@lycos.com Cheers Tony
