CAN YOU HELP
I had an email the other day from Paul Marshall in Skegness. He was enquiring about his grandfather Thomas Marshall who drove Garratts in the steam days and his uncle Stanley Vernon who was once a coppersmith at Toton. If anyone has any information about their working lives Paul would like to hear from you. You can obtain his email address by contacting this website on woile@lycos.com Cheers Tony

Great site - nice to see my 1985 at Toton West is used (published in my book Illustrated History of British Marshalling Yards in 1988).
Please do acknowledge it appropriately.
Love to get in touch with anybody who has older pictures in and around Toton (pre-1978). mr@lapsurgeon.co.uk
